Keeping it in the family

We’re delighted to share that Alex and Sarah’s elder daughter, Emma, has graduated from Cardiff University with a 2:1 degree in Optometry and Vision Sciences.

Following in her parents’ footsteps, 22-year-old Emma graduated after a three-year course and will begin a pre-registration job in Merthyr Tydfil in September. Alex and Sarah met when studying optometry in Manchester in the 1990s.

Due to Covid-19, Emma had to take her final exams at home and missed out on the post exam celebrations and graduation, but it hasn’t dampened her desire for a career in optometry.
