For those of you who have been following the progress of our fencing sponsee Phoebe Newton-Hughes, we hope that you’ll be as excited as we are to read the latest news from Phoebe’s Mum, Ann:
“Soooo…having qualified for the European Championships and being selected as reserve the call came late Thursday night and Feebs is currently flying out to Porec to join the rest of the GB Junior squad. Just six months ago we weren’t really sure if she would be able to return to competitive fencing. So proud of this girl! Thanks again to her sponsors Alex Gage Opticians and the Heywood Township. Thanks also to Dr Raymond Perrin who treated her for ME.”
